Geraldine is Head of Conservation at Investec and has been responsible for managing the Investec Rhino Lifeline project since 2012. Part of Group Sustainability, Geraldine is responsible for implementing our conservation strategy to care for critically endangered species and their environment, and to do this through awareness and uplifting communities living alongside reserves. More recently, Geraldine has worked closely with Gerald Byleveld, and Investec’s financial crimes team, as well as other banks participating in the SAMLIT project, to connect the financial services sector to informed conservation experts, to facilitate communications and understanding of the illegal wildlife trade.
